I have traveled to Italy at least once and sometimes twice a year for the last 12 years. I always start in Rome since for the most part it's the most direct route from America. Let's explore all the wonderful Italian restaurants, films, language, wine, history, culture and people that are in Chicago. If you are from Italy and are living in Chicago, have Italian ancestry or just love the country and its food and culture, this group is for you. We will have a restaurant outing and social event every month. We will be having some events will other Italian and European meetup groups, so there will be a wide variety of people to meet!

We meet monthly to speak Italian, trade Italian restaurant names and ideas for Italian vacations. We eat Italian food, drink Italian wine and spend an enjoyable evening with old friends and new.

Twice monthly on Wednesdays join us for Mercoledi Italiano! With each event we celebrate everything Italian. Use this opportunity to mingle amongst friends, speak Italian, learn to speak Italian and of course, learn about and enjoy great Italian wines and food.
